*Update includes smoother intro shot, and slightly improved message UI.

This is a demo for a game I've built with Unity Pro, entitled "Paradise". All visual assets were created by me (Blender/ Sculptris/ Xnormal/ Photoshop). Demo music arranged with Magix Music Maker. Poetry by Edgar Allen Poe. For more info, follow my blog at: sandboxalchemy.tumblr.com/

Likely, I'll continue to refine this project as I receive more feedback and good ideas, but at this point I've accomplished most of the important things I originally set out to do, and I'm ready to take a break and get some distance (and celebrate!).

I would so play this game. I'm a huge fan of games like this, and I can already tell it's a gem. You deserve way more support... I would love to see this game become available! May I feature you in a Journal entry perhaps?

Thank you for your encouraging words! This project has been a long journey, and unfortunately, I have not been able to focus much on getting the word out. Right now I am taking a few months off, to get some perspective. However, if you would like to feature this effort in a journal entry, be my guest! :)

Thank you for  your support :). This project is ongoing, and has been the result of much effort and sacrifice. I remember a time, years ago, when I thought I would never be able to make something like this... and now I can imagine doing better in the future. I encourage you to pursue your calling (whatever you believe that to be) to whatever unique and wonderful end it takes you.

I know, I cannot make movies, becaus I donīt have programms or a camera for this. So I draw pictures, mostly "dark".
But thank you so much, that you say, I can make it too. :)

If you have a curiosity in learning how to do this kind of work, and you have access to a computer, you might be happy to know that most of the programs I used to make this were free, and are freely available on the internet!

For 3D art, I used Blender, which you can download here: www.blender.org/, and Sculptris, which you can download here: pixologic.com/sculptris/.  To make the game, I used Unity 3D, which you can download here: unity3d.com/unity/download/. To edit the demo movie I used Windows Movie Maker which comes standard (free) on Windows PC's these days. To do digital drawings, I used Photoshop, but you can also use GIMP, which is free: www.gimp.org/  The only real hurtle in making something like this is... time.

It will take a lot of time to learn these tools, and make something with them. (It took me years.)

But, there is no rush! And it is all up to you. Best wishes!
